Cat Slug Percy Pam- This work of astounding depth is an illustrated poem started by Lucas when he was a young man. Completed only last Wednesday, it is indeed an epic compositional time scale for an epic work. Quoth the artist, "An' I did the 'ole fing wif me left 'and."
Portrait of an Ostrich- And here we may witness Mister Lanthier's breathtaking talent as a photographer. This opus was composed by the artist when he was ten years old, on a visit to the San Diego Zoo in California.
Portrait of an Emu- This follow-up to the Ostrich masterpiece was taken early this century at the Praha Zoo. As you can see, the artist's formidable vision has hardly diminished with age.
November, 2001- This is a November calendar that the editors at Anorexic Press asked Lucas to make up for their 2001 calendar issue. Incidentally, Danny Ribiat made a July calendar and Michael Ribiat made a May calendar.
